” I came to volunteer at Bright Park because I was looking for something to do in my spare time. I come a couple of times a week to feed the birds. It's one of the best things I've ever done. I have peace and quiet and I am left to get on with my role. For me it's something to look forward to. Come here and you will find your own position in the volunteer community."

"I decided to become a Friend of Bright Park after hearing about the park from another volunteer. I just wanted to be a part of the team in the exciting journey of the park. It is becoming an oasis and a hub for so many activities and events. I enjoy gardening and this was a great opportunity to help. I've enjoyed tidying up the flower beds and look forward to doing more - a fun way to keep fit!"
